This antenna is designed, built and tested right here in the USA. No whimpy element or flimsy tuning here. Sleek, simple, built to last for years to come. Rover/mobile tested at or above highway speeds. Works great for VHF/UHF contests too. It’s the perfect add on antenna for those who have high gain directional yagis. Save on rotator wear during vhf/uhf contests. Great for mounting on a rover/mobile or base station. Several are being used for beacons right now. This antenna can hear stations calling cq in all directions. Your directional yagi can’t do that without constant turning. Designed for use on digital modes like FT4/FT8 as well as CW and SSB due to it being horizontal polarity. If you want an antenna for FM use, a vertical polarized antenna would be a better choice. Can be mounted on a mast pipe or mounted right to the side of your Rohn 25 tower.
