The wide circumferential and angled lateral grooves channel water and slush from the footprint, resisting hydroplaning. The tread pattern is pinned for studs, which can be added to further improve the ice and snow grip.The tread design upgrades the controllability as well. The directional tread pattern and the flat footprint work together to closely follow the road surface during the drive. This not only boosts the steering responsiveness and the driving stability, but also the tire’s overall maneuvering. The better road contact ensures a quicker and more precise steering responsiveness, while it also stabilizes the structure against the driving pressure. This tread design also improves the maneuvering and cornering ability with the better surface grip.
