This is a modified old stock 1960s/70s leather rally band. The ends have been narrowed from 21mm to 20mm. Band has been fit with a newer Heuer reissue steel buckle authenticated with the FC1042 FL-B1 stamp on back. The band is fully stitched for durability. The stitching has not been altered and the integrity of the strap hasn’t been affected; just the outside ends narrowed and repolished. Look at the macro pictures we’ve included here and you can see the modification clearly. These bands sold out 10 years ago in 20mm black, so customers have been asking for 20mm black versions and we’re now making them available again here complete with a Heuer buckle. This is a completely New Old Stock 1960s/70s original vintage leather rally band for a Heuer Autavia 1163 a Carrera, Montreal, Jeramy or other popular Heuer models that take 20mm bands. Beautiful smooth finish to the leather with matching stitching. Rare type of rally band with the distinct larger and smaller perforated holes combination. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to fit your vintage Heuer chronograph with an original NOS vintage perforated leather racing band. Band has just the right taper with its 20/16mm dimensions. Standard length strap is 7 1/4 inches long (18.7cm). Metric measurement of the two individual pieces of the band are 112/73mm. The thickness goes from 3.1mm where the band meets the watch to 2.7mm at the tail end. Takes a buckle with the 16mm inner opening size.
